Heather has a Master’s degree in Teaching and brings over 20 years of experience in primary education, along with 12 years of teaching English as a foreign language (ages 3 to 75).

Heather's goal as a teacher is for her students to gain confidence and increase their fluency while having fun. Mistakes are gold because they are opportunities to learn and improve one's ability to communicate. Curiosity drives Heather so she loves talking about any topics that interest her students. Lastly, she loves learning how languages work and finding patterns.

What makes Heather happy?

Heather's passion is traveling and exploring other cultures, languages and foods. She used to be a digital nomad, but now she settled in the Czech Republic - hopefully for many years to come. In her free time, Heather loves hiking, exploring, reading and hanging out with friends and family.

Heather enjoys all genres of books, movies and series except for horror. She enjoys reading mysteries, historical fiction, chick lit, international authors and non-fiction in particular. She likes almost all genres of music - especially indie folk, singer/songwriter and classical.
