M Sheridan
Junior Teaching Partner, USA
M has been teaching for over 18 years and holds a TEFL certification. He is a kind and patient teacher. As he says himself, he is a bit of a “grammar enthusiast,” but he also enjoys showing how English is really used in everyday conversation—often quite differently from what is taught in textbooks.
In his lessons, there is space not only for accuracy, but also for natural communication, humour, and practical use of the language. He enjoys connecting structure with how language truly “lives” in real speech.
What makes M happy?
M loves languages and enjoys finding connections and patterns that link them together. His biggest passion, however, is music - he listens to it, creates it, and plays it. Music is both a way for him to relax and a form of self-expression. In his free time, he also enjoys crocheting, as he likes hands-on, calm, focused activities.
His favourite book is The Shadow of the Wind, which he finds fascinating for its atmosphere and story. He enjoys horror films and listens to a wide range of music—but Hozier has a special place on his playlist.
